Experience higher image quality and a brighter view with the D-MAX's improved digital reversing camera. Hydrophobic coating prevents water and dirt from obscuring vision, and a wide horizontal and vertical field of view ensures a clear picture of your surroundings. The reversing camera's dynamic guidelines and exclusive zones makes it easy to navigate tricky parking situations with confidence.
TSC will apply brakes to individual vehicle wheels to help bring the trailer safely back under control.

Having the right tyre pressure is essential when towing. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) constantly monitors and reports individual tyre pressures and temperatures. When refilling your tyres, the vehicle will conveniently alert you once the correct pressure has been reached. (Standard on LS-U, LS-U+ & X-TERRAIN models)

Engineered for Australian conditions, every 4x4 D-MAX features Rough Terrain Mode as standard. Rough Terrain Mode works alongside the rear diff-lock to provide a new lease on traction that maximises drivability in technical, slippery and rough conditions.
To get you out of the toughest spots, the TOUR MATE come standard with a rear differential lock. If you’re on a slippery, uneven surface with the rear wheels spinning, the rear differential lock assists the low-ratio 4WD-low mode to give you the extra traction and control needed to keep moving.
Wherever you’re planning to go, the TOUR MATE is up for the task. With generous steel underbody protection, and a wading depth∞ of up to 800mm, the TOUR MATE is your most reliable way to escape the everyday.
Take on any challenge with Hill Start Assist which prevents vehicle roll-back when starting on steep gradients (above 5.7 degrees). Hill Descent Control gives you the confidence to tackle any downhill terrain by ensuring maximum traction.
Switch quickly and easily between 2WD-high, 4WD-high & 4WD-low driving modes.
The TOUR MATE comes with sturdy steel underbody protection, including a steel sump and transfer case guard, for extra protection in punishing off-road conditions.
